A leadership team has been appointed to implement Scotland’s artificial intelligence strategy.

The strategy, which was published in March, outlined plans to make Scotland a leader in ethical artificial intelligence and set out actions to be taken over the next five years. Made up of leading technology experts, the Scottish AI Alliance Leadership Circle will now take that forward and work to deliver the strategy.

This includes the development of the AI Playbook, a practical guide to help the public, industry, public sector and academia understand and benefit from artificial intelligence.

The group met for the first time on Monday 7 June.
